Located 50 miles from New York City the Warwick valley includes Warwick and its hamlets, Greenwood Lake, Florida and Vernon, NJ. Each of these places are unique with an energy that welcomes you with endless options for fun and relaxation. The Appalachian trail is our backyard and visitors and residents can enjoy the great trails and enjoy the sweeping views of Warwick. The valley blooms with life in the spring and summer and you can enjoy a day on Greenwood Lake swimming or boating. If that isn’t something that appeals to you visit our local wineries and breweries. Or stroll thru the unique villages and discover shops and artisans many of them family owned that have something special for locals and tourists alike. In the fall, Warwick erupts with color and you can enjoy apple and pumpkin picking, and visit one of our farm stands or any of the farmers market hosted in Florida, Greenwood Lake and Warwick. You can join us on the first Sunday in October for Applefest, Orange County’s largest festival which attracts over 30,000 visitors to Warwick for this one-day event. When winter comes around and the snow begins to fall the fun continues with downhill and cross-country skiing.
